Sorry let’s roll it back – I loved Andy’s debut, The Spirit Engineer and knew that he was an author I would instantly want to read his next book and I was even more pleased to see that this new book was not remotely in the same thread as The Spirit Engineer.
The Betrayal of Thomas True is a novel like no other! Taking you down the alleys and back streets of 1700’s London, Andy has woven a tale of love and friendship into the perils of being your true authentic self.
The world, people and relationships detailed within Thomas True are as layered and complex as real life and this gave for a very immersive experience when reading.

Thomas True is a hero/heroine that you will love like your own son and Gabriel the same. Willing them to just to see their own beauty.
There is hilarity and heartbreak throughout and you will find yourself gasping and guffawing out loud!
Andy’s writing will take you through so many emotions and leave you both bereft and filled with such joy! I cannot recommend this book enough to anyone and everyone!
