    This is a charming story, simply told, amidst the outstanding artwork, which is an integral part of the narrative. Just as important is the factual information on the last page, about the history of the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree. This elevates the book and sets it in a context, widening children’s interest in civic Christmas trees, their value and purpose. An asset to any family or school bookshelf.
