Description
This is a brilliant concept, telling the story of a man who lives for hundreds of years, and exploring the pitfalls of new lives and lost loves. One of Bert’s Best.

HOW MANY LIFETIMES DOES IT TAKE TO LEARN HOW TO LIVE?
Tom Hazard has a dangerous secret. He may look like an ordinary 41-year-old history teacher, but he’s been alive for centuries. From Elizabethan England to Jazz-Age Paris, from New York to the South Seas, Tom has seen it all.
As long as he keeps changing his identity he can keep one step ahead of his past – and stay alive. The only thing he must not do is fall in love . . .

I had only read a few pages of this book when I realised it was highly likely I was going to pull an all nighter to finish it, I was hooked from start to finish. Once I had finished I immediately tweeted the author to ask for more – I believe I said I could happily only ever read books set in this world forever more and I can’t wait for the next one!
Christina Farnell –
Probably the best book I have read. Loved Tom and loved all the history. I was completely engrossed in this book. Just brilliant
