  1. Bert

This is a great mystery – I loved reading it, and loved the concept of slowly going backwards in time to solve it. Very cleverly done where I worked things out in tandem with the main character, which was very satisfying!

Despite the backwards timeline, it was really easy to keep track of, and the breaks from Jen’s narrative with Ryan were well spaced.

I wasn’t terribly keen on the epilogue, but as it’s very short (less than one page) I can pretend it’s not there and keep the 5* rating!

  2. Sarah TURNER

You know when you feel a book will become the next one that everyone wants to copy — the next I let you go, the next Gone Girl, the next Girl on a Train… this is that book. Wrong Place, Wrong Time will be a huge hit, deservedly so. Such a brilliant premise! Opening with her son apparently murdering a stranger in the street, Jen finds herself the next morning waking up the day before the event…. and an opportunity to stop it happening? Going back in time to uncover the clues – so cleverly done. Really original – and despite the apparent time travelling element – not once did I find it implausible or far fetched. Totally gripped from start to finish.
