  1. Anna Kierczynska

What a FANTASTIC story! It’s hard to believe it’s a debut! Adam Simcox has a bright writing future ahead of him, I’m sure of that.

I loved it so much and I didn’t want it to end. I limited myself to reading just a few chapters a day, instead of devouring the book on one sitting (which I could have easily done, because it was brilliant).

Joe is a detective and he’s observing a drug house, Daisy-May, a teenage girl comes to him and says she works with him and they should come in… they find two bodies by the door, and one upstairs… the dead man is Joe.
They need to solve the mystery of how Joe died, but unfortunately dead people lose their memories, so The Dying Squad needs to work hard to figure out what happened.

Not everything is as it seems… actually nothing is at it seems!

The book story unravels dark secrets, it’s twisty and unique.

I loved the characters, I could read about Daisy-May and Joe on daily basis and I can’t believe I have to wait a full year until the second book is published!

The world created by Adam is messed up in its own way, the living one, the Hell and the Purgatory. Intriguing, complex and simple at the same time. Absolutely loved it.

If I could influence Netflix in any way, I’d love them to create a tv series from The Dying Squad. It’s rare for a book to be written perfectly for the film. This one is.

Well done, I can’t wait to read the next one and dozens following in the series. After just one book Adam Simcox became an author whose books I’ll buy blindly. I don’t need to read a blurb or get recommendations, just take my money!
