‘Red, White & Royal Blue is outrageously fun. It is romantic, sexy, witty, and thrilling. I loved every second.’ – Taylor Jenkins Reid, New York Times bestselling author of Daisy Jones & The Six

This is a story set in a election fevered White House and within a fictional British Royal Family, and once I managed to set aside some of my doubts (ironically based on other fictional stories I know set in these worlds and not reality) I could not put this book down, and I escaped into it.
First a cake, then a cupboard, I was hooked. I was often left feeling like I was reading a thriller not a rom-com, because it is so fast paced in places but it is a really fun read, slowed down by the hilarious yet deeply touching long-distance correspondence between Alex and Henry. It is at its simplest, a very charming love story.
