It’s been a while since I last read a Thursday Next story and I was worried that it wouldn’t be as good as I remembered. It was actually even better – Jasper Fforde has the most amazing imagination and has created an incredible world where jumping into novels or dealing with excess stupidity levels are perfectly normal. A story full of adventure and surprises, alongside tongue in cheek humour, makes for a great way to escape from reality for a few hours.
