This was fast, fun, and would be a great summer beach read.

I enjoyed it, but it left me with questions. It felt like it was almost a Who dunit romance, a who’s gonna get it if you will.
The world troubled me slightly, the sense of time frame felt like it went from modern to past, and the unquestioning acceptance of every characters life and life style made it feel a little Disney.
It was comedic, and interesting, but the introduction of the best friend being in a toxic relationship as a sub plot, didn’t even fizzle out, it just went no where and she was still in a toxic relationship. That left me feeling like her character was there to drive the plot of the MC, rather than have a story herself.
