A MASSACRE OF ELITES
Behind the closed doors of San Francisco’s grandest mansions, beautiful people party the nights away in a hedonistic haze of money, drugs, drink and sex. But the rich and famous aren’t the only ones with the keys to these most exclusive of addresses. Someone else is intent on crashing the party.
A rock star, a fashion designer, a software tycoon and a millionaire heiress. All glamorous, stunningly attractive, and incredibly rich. All dead.
All murdered. All of them Detective Lindsay Boxer’s problem.
A FORGOTTEN MURDER
But the frantic media attention on the case distracts from the murder of a local street hero, ‘Bagman Jesus’.
Only intrepid reporter Cindy Thomas, a member of the Women’s Murder Club, is on the case. The victim was celebrated across the city for his selfless work with the homeless. Who would want to kill him? Could the down-and-out Samaritan have been hiding a dark secret?
A TICKING CLOCK
The cases demand the attention of the whole Women’s Murder Club.
Roping in tough-as-nails attorney Yuki and compassionate medical examiner Claire, Lindsay and Cindy race to solve the case before the killer strikes again – but tensions are running high, and the strain threatens to tear the Women’s Murder Club apart for good. TIME’S UP…

Description
In a late-night showdown, Detective Lindsay Boxer has to make an instantaneous decision: in self-defence she fires her weapon – and sets off a chain of events that leaves a police force disgraced, a city divided and a family destroyed. Now everything she’s worked for her entire life hinges on the decision of twelve jurors. To escape the media circus, Lindsay retreats to the picturesque town of Half Moon Bay.
Soon after, a string of grisly murders punches through the community. There are no witnesses; there is no pattern. But a key detail reminds Lindsay of an unsolved murder she worked on years ago.
As summer comes into full swing, Lindsay and her friends in the Women’s Murder Club battle for her life on two fronts: in court and against a ruthless killer.
